TAGTHAi Easy Pay is a simple and convenient e-wallet designed for foreign tourists traveling in Thailand. With this new feature, tourists can scan and pay easily via PromptPay at any shop, restaurant, and attraction all across Thailand.

How to Get the e-Wallet, TAGTHAi Easy Pay 

  • Visit a KBank Foreign Exchange Booth to apply for a PAY&TOUR prepaid card.
  • Bring your passport and the amount you’d like to exchange.
  • Register your PAY&TOUR prepaid card by filling the form with your information
  • Once registered, you can use your prepaid card to:
    • Pay at any store that accepts Visa.
    • Withdraw cash from KBank ATMs.

To scan PromptPay as well known in Thai QR payments, go follow these steps:

  • Download TAGTHAi Easy Pay and create an account.
  • Link your PAY&TOUR prepaid card in the app.
  • Tap ‘Easy Pay’ at the bottom menu.
  • Enter your passport number and the card reference number
  • Enter the PIN you set during registration at the KBank Foreign Exchange Booth
  • Review your details and press ‘Confirm’.
  • Once verified, you’re ready to scan and pay at any stores nationwide!

Usage

Q3: Is currency exchange available for all countries?

  • Most currencies* are accepted, but Thai Baht cannot be added directly to the PAY&TOUR prepaid card.
  • To activate TAGTHAi Easy Pay. bring your own currency and exchange it at KBANK FX Booths.
  • Then, add it to your PAY&TOUR prepaid card and connect it to Easy Pay.

Q4: Where can I use PAY & TOUR prepaid card and e-Wallet?

  • At any store that accepts VISA  
  • At any store that accepts PromptPay QR payment

Q5: How to top-up and get refunds?

  • Top-up and refund at any KASIKORNBANK foreign exchange booth.

Q6: Where can I check my transaction history and balance?

  • Transaction history and balance can be reviewed via TAGTHAi app

Q7: Can I top up PAY&TOUR prepaid card by bank transfer or QR Code?

  • No. You can only top up at Kasikornbank Foreign Exchange (KBank FX) counters using cash.

Q8: Can I top up the card only at KBank FX Booths?

  • Yes. Top-ups are available only at KBank FX counters.

Q9: Can I exchange Thai Baht at other exchange booths (e.g., Super Rich) and then top up at KBank FX Booths?

  • No. You must exchange foreign currency into Thai Baht at KBank FX Booths before topping up.

Q10: Can I use PAY&TOUR prepaid card for online shopping or link it to apps like Grab?

  • No. The card cannot be used for online transactions or linked to shopping apps.

Q11: When I get PAY&TOUR prepaid card, do I have to top up right away?

  • Yes. You must top up immediately by exchanging foreign currency to Thai Baht at the booth.

Q12: If I lose or change my phone, can I log in to TAGTHAi Easy Pay with my old account?

  • Yes. You can log in on your new phone using your existing account. However, only one device can be used at a time.

Q13: Can I use the same TAGTHAi Easy Pay account on more than one device at the same time?

  • No. You can only log in on one device. If you switch devices, you must unlink the old one first.

Q14: Is there a fee for topping up the card? Can I get a refund?

  • No. There is no fee for topping up the card.

Q15: Why can't I use PAY&TOUR prepaid card with Grab or similar apps?

  • The card is not supported for online transactions. You may not receive a 3D code, and the system will block the transaction.

Caution and advice

The card and PIN must be kept in a safe place, treated as confidential and must not be lost or taken by any other persons. The Cardholder should not write the 6-digit PIN on the card or disclose it to other persons, or allow them to use the card on their behalf.
