The Pattaya Film Festival is back again this year, and it is now in its third edition. From August 28 to 30, 2025, the Pattaya city turned into a big outdoor cinema where people could enjoy movies under the stars. This festival was not just about watching films, but also about bringing culture, fun, and tourism together in one exciting event.

The event is organized by Pattaya City to help both Thai and international movies get more recognition. The festival brings together art, creative businesses, and cultural exchange between different countries. It also shows that Pattaya can be an important business center in the region and proves it's an exciting place for international tourists who love art, culture, and entertainment.

Moreover, the festival are to make Thai films more popular around the world and help boost Thailand's economy and tourism industry by showcasing movies and bringing people together. The main screenings were held at SF Cinema Central Pattaya, but what made the event special were the open-air shows at Pattaya Beach, Lan Pho Park (Na Kluea), and even at local temples like Wat Nong Yai.

The movie lineup was also very interesting such as 20,000 Species of Bees, Influencer, Alien: Earth, Kiss the Con Queen, Deeper along with Thai favorites like Viman Nam and Mr. Hurt. 

A special highlight was the Filipino film Pushcart Tales, which showed how the event brings together stories from around Asia. There were also action films starring Tony Jaa, horror screenings with Q&A sessions, and fun animations for kids.

However, the festival was not only about movies - all visitors can enjoy food stalls, local products, and cultural performances which made the event feel like a mix of cinema and community fair.
