The famous pygmy hippopotamus visits the city for the Bangkok Illumination Festival 2024 from December 17 to January 5, 2025. 

Moo Deng and her hippopotamus army will light up 9 landmark spots throughout Bangkok with a stunning display of lights and sound. This festival hopes to offer joy and excitement to both residents and international tourists at New Year event as the year comes to an end.
