Golfing in Bangkok is fun. It’s played over a vast space outdoors, and it’s a decent workout and distraction for the mind. Oh, and whacking balls into a pond on purpose just to see it splash has its appeal. Kidding aside. That feeling of swinging the club with speed; a solid shot that won’t curve left or right; turning your shoulders back and watching the ball rocket off the clubface – there’s nothing like golfing. With TAGTHAi’s two-day Challenge Golf Course pass, you can play golf in the morning and visit attractions in the afternoon – all with one pass. Here are the benefits of the TAGTHAi Golf Pass at a glance.

Twelve of the Best Bangkok Golf Courses Are Included

Manicured greens, fine fairways, and beautiful sceneries – golfing in Bangkok is a joy. TAGTHAi’s wallet-friendly Golf Pass covers twelve of the best places to play golf in Thailand’s capital. The benefits include the Bangkok golf club green fee for 18 holes, a golf cart, and caddie fees, but not tipping.

Royal Bang Pa-In Golf Club (price without the Golf Pass: $154)

Undoubtedly a top Bangkok golf centre in Thailand’s metropolis, the Royal Bang Pa-In Golf Club is best suited for experienced players. It features undulating greens and significant elevation gradients, with some seven meters between high and low points.

Note that you will have to make a reservation 72 hours in advance.

Lam Luk Ka Country Club (price without the Golf Pass: $113)

Constructed on wetlands, the Lam Luk Ka Country Club boasts an 18-hole course framed by several tropical plants and trees. It is suitable for both professionals and beginners.

If you’re just starting out, stay on the western course with its wide fairways that make for easy golfing in Bangkok.

Remember to make a reservation 72 hours in advance, and you’re good to go.

Subhapruek Golf Club (price without the Golf Pass: $102)

Some beginners say the Subhapruek Golf Club is the best golf course in Bangkok. The holes on this palm-lined course are shorter than elsewhere, and the whole course is rather flat.

Island targets engulfed by water and the water feature with its par-3 goal can be challenging, but generally, it appeals to a wide audience, and avoid the weekends if crowds spoil the idyll for you.

As an aside, if you’re looking for a Bangkok golf shop, you can find one at one of the many golf courts in and around the city. Other places you’ll want to add to your Bangkok golf courses map – all included in TAGTHAi’s Golf Pass – are:

  • Muang Kaew Golf Course
  • Riverdale Golf Club
  • Rachakram Golf Club
  • Bangkok Golf Club
  • Green Valley Country Club
  • Ekachai Golf and Country Club
  • The Vintage Club
  • Pinehurst Golf Club

Some of the Best Massage Parlors in Bangkok Are Included

After a round of golf, pamper yourself with a relaxing massage. Whether you need an elbow in the back to get rid of an office syndrome or are into oil massages that make you fall asleep – the best Bangkok massage parlors are included in the TAGTHAi Golf Pass. Here they are:

TAB Massage (Asawasdee Blind Massage) (price without the Golf Pass: $9)

Given their heightened sensibility of touch and feeling, the visually impaired are said to be better massage therapists than those who have normal eyesight. Reliable statistics on how many blind massage therapists there are in Thailand don’t exist, but according to rumors, there should be about 1,000 of them.

And some of these people work at Asawasdee Blind Massage by TAB. Started in August 2020 to help the blind find employment, Asawasdee Blind Massage by TAB is now a popular establishment.

Other massage parlors included in the Golf Pass are:

  • Baan Ya Hom Zantiis
  • Ko-lok Thai Massage,
  • and Horm Thai Massage and Spa

TAGTHAi also Partners with Restaurants and Cafes

Once the stomach rumbles, golfers can enjoy free meals as part of the Golf Pass at restaurants like Baan Restaurant or Audrey Cafe.

Baan Restaurant (price without the Golf Pass: $12)

Overlooking Lumphini, Baan Restaurant has become known for Thai dishes made with locally sourced ingredients like Yum Pak Bung Kob. The salad with crispy morning glory and pork or shrimp is one of the local favorites, and – you might have guessed it – it’s included in the Golf Pass. You can instead choose Kapao Nua, if you prefer beef. Kapao Nua is a signature dish with stir-fried, minced dry-aged beef in spicy holy basil.

My Grandparent’s House (price without the Golf Pass: $9)

Located on Bangkok’s riverside, this Chinese restaurant is a great place to have lunch. Looking over Phra Pokklao Bridge on the western banks of the Chao Phraya River, My Grandparent’s House recalls a bygone era for many Chinese immigrants that have adapted to the culture of Thailand.

The restaurant is in a teak building that is more than 90 years old, and Chinese paper lanterns flutter in the wind. Push open the wooden folding doors and order one of two dishes that the Golf Pass includes: the Grandma’s value set consisting of red soup with fish maw, chrysanthemum juice, and a refreshing, ice-based grass jelly dessert, or grilled chicken salad served with passion fruit soda.

Other restaurants and cafes included in the Golf Pass are Audrey Cafe, and Hei Jii, another Chinese restaurant.

All these benefits would add up to hundreds of dollars without the Golf Pass. Golfing in Bangkok the wallet-friendly way with TAGTHAi, however, costs only $178.50. Now plan your Bangkok trip and get ready to tilt your shoulders and practice that swing motion!
