Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) : Essential Information All Tourists Should Know
Starting May 1, all foreign visitors to Thailand must complete Thailand Digital Arrival Card online at least 3 days before their arrival.
New Rule Alert!
Make sure you are up to date with the latest travel rules and entry requirements set by Thailand. One of the most important steps before arriving is to follow Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) process. This new digital system has been designed to make your arrival smoother and more secure when checking your documentation at the immigration checkpoint.

Now, completing the TDAC is mandatory for most international visitors. It's part of Thailand’s initiative to streamline immigration procedures and ensure all travelers meet health, safety, and documentation requirements.
What is Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)?
TDAC stands for Thailand Digital Arrival Card — a digital immigration form that replaces the traditional paper arrival/departure card (TM.6). This system was introduced to modernize the immigration process, reduce wait times at checkpoints, and enhance data collection for tourism and national security purposes. Travelers entering Thailand must complete this online form before their trip, providing details such as passport information, accommodation in Thailand, travel history, and reason for entry.

Why TDAC is Important?
This form will play a crucial role in helping the Thai government manage immigration efficiently. It allows authorities to pre-screen travelers, identify potential risks, and monitor the influx of visitors for tourism data analysis. Skipping this step could result in longer immigration processing or denied entry.
How to Register to Get a Visa Through TDAC

To register for the TDAC, follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official TDAC website
- Select the Arrival Card button
- Fill in your personal details and your travel related info.
Make sure to complete this process at least 72 hours before your arrival.
