Lakshmi Shrine

You are now at the Lakshmi Shrine, located on the 4th floor of Gaysorn Village.

 

Lakshmi is a major goddess in Hindu mythology and is traditionally associated with wealth and prosperity.

 

According to Hindu belief, Lakshmi emerged during the cosmic event known as the “Churning of the Ocean of Milk,” when gods and giants worked together to obtain the elixir of immortality. She rose from the ocean, standing on a lotus flower, which symbolizes purity and spiritual abundance. This origin story is central to her identity within Hindu tradition.

How to get to the 7th stop (Narayana Shrine) :

  1. From the Lakshmi Shrine, take the elevator to the 2nd floor
  2. Exit Gaysorn village at the R-Walk - West side
  3. Turn right to the InterContinental Bangkok hotel
  4. Arrived at Narayana Shrine (7th stop)
