Ever imagined what it’s like to stand face-to-face with a T-rex?
We didn’t. But only until we found ourselves doing exactly that at Jurassic World: The Experience! Located at Asiatique The Riverfront, this isn’t just another exhibition; it’s an immersive adventure brought to life. Whether you’ve loved the Jurassic movies for years or are just curious about dinosaurs, Jurassic World: The Experience is one adventure you simply can’t miss

What is Jurassic World: The Experience?
Let’s start with the basics: Jurassic World: The Experience in Bangkok is a massive, immersive dinosaur exhibition that takes over more than 6,000 m² of Asiatique. From the moment we walked through the iconic Jurassic World gates, we were transported to Isla Nublar—fog, roars, and all. With stunning animatronics and hyper-realistic scenes, it’s more than a display—it’s a story we got to walk through. We honestly felt like we had been cast in our own dinosaur movie (and we’d totally watch it again).

Did you know? The original Jurassic Park (1993) used just 15 minutes of dinosaur footage, but it redefined how we imagine dinosaurs forever. Now, you get to be part of that legacy.
Key Attractions: Animatronic, Zones, and Interactive Areas
Here’s where the magic happens. The Jurassic World: The Experience is divided into cinematic-style zones, each one designed to transport you deeper into the world of Jurassic Park. Every section feels like a movie set, just with more roars.
1. Origins of Wonder Zone
We were greeted by towering LED screens and a dazzling soundscape that introduced us to the island’s backstory. The moment we entered, we felt like park visitors in the actual Jurassic World. This grand hall sets the tone, mirroring the awe of seeing the park come alive on screen for the first time.
2. Arrival at Isla Nublar Zone
Walking through the gates with the theme music in our heads, we felt chills. The dense jungle, towering doors, and atmospheric lighting were straight out of a Spielberg set.
3. A Close Encounter with Giants Zone
This was a jaw-dropper. A life-sized Brachiosaurus moved gracefully through misty treetops, and we caught another dinosaur joining the feeding moment. It felt like the scene from the first film where Dr. Grant sees a dinosaur for the first time.
4. The Petting Zoo Zone
We couldn’t stop smiling. Baby dinosaurs roamed freely—nudging, nuzzling, and being absolutely adorable. One baby triceratops tried headbutting the fence (don’t worry, he was harmless). Kids around us were giggling, and honestly, so were we. In Jurassic World (2015), the Petting Zoo is a highlight for park guests, and it feels just as magical here.

5. Predator Pavilion Zone
This zone cranked up the tension. Animatronic Velociraptors lurked, hissed, and stared you down with piercing yellow eyes. If you’ve seen Jurassic World, you know these guys mean business. Being this close felt like we were handlers—without the safety of Owen Grady’s clicker.
6. Observation Deck Zone
We boarded a moving platform into a dense jungle area, only to realize Indominus Rex was lurking nearby. When the lights flickered and her roar boomed through the trees, we almost forgot it wasn’t real.

7. A Fight for Survival Zone
Utility tunnels, red flashing lights, echoing footsteps—this was one of the most thrilling parts of the journey. A sudden Carnotaurus charge? We ran.
8. Lost in the Jungle Zone
This one hit our nostalgia button. Overgrown foliage, a wrecked Jeep, and the broken Jurassic Park sign brought The Lost World to life. Then a Dilophosaurus made a dramatic entrance—frills extended.
9. Caged Up Zone
We looked up and saw silhouettes soaring above. A massive Pteranodon glided through the fog, while a curious Stygimoloch approached with a loud snort. The enclosure felt alive.
10. The Final Escape Zone
We thought it was over—until alarms started blaring. A T-rex stomped closer. We dashed toward the exit as the doors slid shut behind us. Pure movie magic.

Refuge - At Last Zone
Soft lighting, gentle music, and the quiet after chaos. We had survived. This final section gave us a moment to reflect on the epic journey.
Jurassic World Retail Store & Hatch Dome
Before heading out, we popped into the Retail Store—packed with dino gear, plushies, and even a replica of the T-rex skull. Right next door, the Hatch Dome took us through a stunning 4D sustainability experience. The visuals were immersive, and the message of conservation added depth to the whole visit.
Fossil & Flame Restaurant
This wasn’t just a snack stop. Inspired by the Jurassic World universe, the Fossil & Flame Restaurant served dino-themed meals in a setting that felt like a research outpost meets jungle café. We loved the attention to detail—right down to the menu design.
Where and When to Visit in Bangkok
You’ll find Jurassic World: The Experience at Asiatique, running from 8 August 2025 and open daily from 11:00–22:00. It’s one of the top immersive experiences in Bangkok for movie fans and families alike.

Perfect for Families: Activities for Kids and Adults
Don’t think this is just for kids. We went in expecting to snap a few pics and left with a full heart (and a phone full of videos). Every zone balances thrill and fun. The baby dinos, the jump scares, the cinematic build-up—everything felt designed to bring out the inner child in everyone.

Even the maps and signs are designed like Jurassic Park props. You’re not just visiting, you’re part of the story.
