You are now standing at the Umadevi Shrine, located at the main gate on the 1st floor of Big C Supercenter Ratchadamri.
Umadevi, also known as Parvati, is the consort of Lord Shiva and the mother of Ganesha. In Hindu belief, she is regarded as one of the three principal goddesses, alongside Saraswati and Lakshmi. She is traditionally associated with compassion and devotion.
According to legend, in her first life, he was born as Sati. After her father publicly insulted her husband, Shiva, she chose to sacrifice herself. She was later reborn as Parvati and dedicated herself to reuniting with Shiva through meditation and perseverance. This narrative forms an important part of Hindu mythology and reflects themes of devotion and spiritual strength.
How to get to the 4th stop (Shiva Shrine):
- Enter Big C Ratchadamri
- Take the elevator to the 7th floor
- Turn left from the elevator and walk straight
- Arrived at the Shiva Shrine (4th stop)
