Responsible Tourism Route: Ban Pa Mak Community Prachuap Khiri Khan

Ban Pa Mak Community is where a lot of coffee is grown. Therefore, the value is added with Robusta coffee roasting activities at Robusta Pa Chang Khao. Here, tourists can sip coffee and experience nature at the same time. They can also camp along the stream, watching the stars at night. When combined with OTOP products and GI products of the province, this tourism route connecting diverse resources can create higher added value.

A small community on the edge of a stream in the embrace of the forest

Ban Pa Mak is located in the middle of the forest, along a stream, at the end of the western Thai border in Sam Roi Yot District. It is well known among camping tourists who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city to rest and listen to the sounds of nature. Sip a warm Robusta coffee and watch the mist and rain drift slowly across the landscape during the end of the rainy season.


PROGRAM

DAY 1

10.00 Arrive at Ban Pa Mak Community, an Karen ethnic community along the western Thai border located deep in the middle of the forest

11.00 Take a coffee break with Thap Sakae coconut water and Robusta in Pa Chang Khao, the village's only cafe located next to a stream

12.00 Have lunch prepared by community chefs

13.00Take a forest walk and listen to local stories, then soak in the stream in the middle of Ban Pa Mak

15.00 Have a relaxing massage in the midst of nature

17.00 Have dinner

21.00 Join a stargazing activity at the tent site by the stream

 

DAY 2

08.00 Leave the community

10.30 Go on trekking activities at Phraya Nakhon Cave, Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park

12.00 Have lunch at Chicken and Bee : Good Food and Organic Farm

13.00 Travel back safely
